The movie uses the same weapons as the game, with no additions:

The weapons are given to each of the guests by Mr. Body in the Lounger after dinner. Mr. Body encourages the guests to kill Wadsworth in order to keep their secrets from coming out (and turns out the light so no one can see who does it) but Mr. Body is attacked instead.
The movie includes all the characters in the game and adds several more. Listed in cast order according to IMDB. Character name is followed by the name of the actor/actress in parenthesis.

This movie has three different endings endings. In its original run different theaters showed one of the three endings. The current DVD release allows the viewer to see a randomly picked ending or all three endings back to back. Television airings show all three endings.
Each ending starts at or after Wadsworth has begun his explanation of how the murders were committed. They are numbered below according to how they are presented if you view all three at once.
Ending 1: In the first ending, Wadsworth accuses Miss Scarlet of being the killer.
Ending 2: In the second ending, Wadsworth accuses Mrs. Peacock of being the killer.
Ending 3: In the third ending, Wadsworth walks through each murder and accuses a different guest of each one.
